Electrical Tests

When electrical tests are necessary, a standard 100V neon circuit tester can be used for the procedures.

Checking the Fuse

To check the fuse, turn the power off, disconnect the red wire from terminal one, and secure it out of the way without touching any metal parts. With the power on, test across terminals three and four. If the tester does not light, replace the fuse.

Checking the Hot Rod

To check the hot rod, turn the power off, disconnect the red wire from terminal one, and secure it out of the way without touching any metal parts. With the power on, test between terminal one and the end of wire disconnected from same terminal. If the tester does not light, replace the hot rod.

Checking the Circuit Board

When you need to check the circuit board, turn the power off, disconnect the red wire from terminal one, and secure it out of the way without touching any metal parts. With the power on, test across terminals one and two. If the tester does not light, replace the circuit board.
